Senior Finance Manager - Business Development Valuation and Fina

The Senior Finance Manager - Business Development Valuation and Financial Analytics position will lead a team and participate in the valuation and analysis for credit card portfolio acquisitions and start-up programs.

+ Develop financial analysis, modeling, and reporting to support portfolio valuations

+ Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis for portfolio acquisitions

+ Evaluate economics and develop financial projections / drivers for target portfolios and start-up programs

+ Analyze and interpret key performance data and communicate findings / recommendations to business line partners and senior management

+ Participate in deal structure discussions and provide recommendations and input that adds value, identifies risks / opportunities and optimizes competitive positioning

+ Interact with cross functional teams (e.g., risk management, product/marketing, cost management, etc.) to develop assumptions for financial modeling

+ Ad-hoc analysis as required relating to deals or other strategic investments


Basic Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent work experience

- 10 or more years of experience in financial analysis activities

- Five or more years of management experience

Preferred Skills/Experience

- Strong leadership direct and cross functional teams experience is required

- Experience leading and influencing the decision making process for Credit Card investments

- Thorough knowledge of valuation techniques and financial metrics including NPV, IRR, ROA/ROE and other banking profitability metrics

- Knowledge of credit card economics and key drivers

- Knowledge of bank-specific financial statements and key metrics (P&L, balance sheet, capital)

- Detailed financial modeling experience

- Ability to present complex data in a comprehensive yet succinct manner to senior management

- Ability work independently to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

- Ability to think "big-picture" while maintaining attention to detail

- Previous valuation or M&A experience

- MBA, CFA or other advanced designation
